Some plates were never meant for food. They hung on a wall, caught the afternoon light, and quietly told you this was a house that kept beautiful things.
This Royal Vienna plate is one of those. Hand-painted pastoral scenes in the 18th-century style, gold detailing around a scalloped edge, with a mount on the back so it can go straight onto the wall — alone or among others of its kind.
It's small, and it asks for nothing but a nail and good light.

Each piece is vintage or antique and has lived a life before finding its way to Tallmadge Ave; natural signs of age, wear, patina, and imperfections are part of its character and are to be expected. All pieces are sold as-is, and any notable condition issues are described in the product listing. That said, if it arrives damaged or isn't as described, we'll refund you in full, including shipping — since each piece is one of a kind, we can't simply send a replacement. Packed by hand. Every piece is wrapped and boxed by hand, by us, not pulled off a warehouse shelf. Shipping is free over $75; below that it's calculated at checkout. If it arrives damaged, send us a photo within 48 hours and we'll refund you in full. Each piece is one of a kind, so we can't send a replacement, which is exactly why your money back is guaranteed, but please keep in mind that every piece here has lived a life before this one. We sell it as-is, wear included.
