Every kid had a horse somewhere, on a shelf too high to reach, on a windowsill, won at a fair and never given up. Something to hold while the grown-ups talked.

This cast iron one has the weight that made those horses feel real. Maybe it stood on a boy's dresser. Maybe it held down a stack of papers by a window. Maybe it just waited, year after year, to be picked up again.

It doesn't do anything. It doesn't have to. It's the kind of small, solid thing a hand remembers.

Each piece is vintage or antique and has lived a life before finding its way to Tallmadge Ave; natural signs of age, wear, patina, and imperfections are part of its character and are to be expected. All pieces are sold as-is, and any notable condition issues are described in the product listing. That said, if it arrives damaged or isn't as described, we'll refund you in full, including shipping — since each piece is one of a kind, we can't simply send a replacement.
