Tall Ship Oil Painting in Carved Wood Frame, Signed, 15" x 17"

A three-masted tall ship under full sail, cream and gold canvas catching the light as she bows into a green sea. Gulls trail off the stern and the spray comes up white over the waves. Signed lower right.

This painting has hung somewhere before. Maybe over a fireplace in a den that smelled like pipe smoke. Maybe in a shore house hallway. Maybe in an office where someone looked at it and thought about the day they'd finally retire to the water.

It doesn't just fill a wall. It gives the room a horizon.

Oil painting of a tall ship at sea, signed lower right. 15" x 17" framed, with a linen liner, a green-painted band and a heavy carved wood frame stamped "Hecho en Mexico" on the back. Dings, worm-hole style distressing and wear to the frame, and wear to the back of the frame, shown in the photos.

For the den, the lake house, or anyone who has a boat in their future. #followthefeeling @tallmadge_ave_vintage
