The Story of Our Logo — Hand-Painted by Bhare

At Tallmadge Ave, we believe that every object tells a story, a history woven into its fabric, its brushstrokes, its craftsmanship. When it came time to create our logo, we knew it had to reflect this ethos: a blend of heritage, artistry, and the warmth of the handmade.

We turned to the artist Bhare, whose folk-art approach resonated deeply with our sensibility. His work captures the warmth and imperfections that make vintage art and furnishings so deeply personal. The horse, graceful, yet slightly untamed, nods to a bygone era, evoking handmade wooden toys, carousel figures, and antique trade signs. Surrounding it, the wreath of wildflowers adds an organic, lived-in beauty, much like the pieces we choose to bring home.

Bhare’s hand-rendered style, with its raw textures and thoughtful details, mirrors our belief that the past is something to be celebrated, not merely replicated. Each curve, brushstroke, and flourish in the logo embodies the spirit of Tallmadge Ave: where history meets home, and where vintage finds a new story to tell.
