Scottie Dog Match Holder, Hand-Painted Porcelain, 2.5"

A Scottie sitting up to beg, with a little orange basket strapped to his back for the matches. White coat combed in gray, a blue harness, a red tongue and a look that says he'd do this job for a biscuit.

This one has kept the matches handy before. Maybe on a mantel, ready for the first fire of the season. Maybe on a bar cart next to the candles. Maybe on a desk, holding pens instead.

It doesn't just hold matches. It makes lighting a candle a small occasion.

Scottie Dog Match Holder, hand-painted glazed porcelain. Begging Scottie with a basket on his back, on an orange rectangular base. 2.5" tall. Small chips to the base edges consistent with age.

For the Scottie people, and the ones who always have a fire going. #followthefeeling @tallmadge_ave_vintage
