Pat McCarthy Vintage Beach Scene Painting, 32" x 32"

A wonderfully nostalgic original painting by Pat McCarthy, depicting two young children playing together on a sandy beach beneath a dramatic blue-gray sky.

One child works with a small shovel and pail in the sand while her companion sits beside her wearing a charming straw hat tied with a bold red ribbon. In the distance, sailboats move across the blue water, giving the scene a wonderful sense of summer, innocence, and place.

The painting has a beautifully expressive, painterly quality, with warm sandy tones contrasted against the cool blues of the sea and sky. It is presented in a substantial ornate gilt frame with carved detailing that complements the vintage character of the work.

A particularly charming example of Pat McCarthy's nostalgic figurative work, and a wonderful statement piece for a traditional, collected, or coastal-inspired interior.
