Dachshund Puppy Figurine, Japan, Black and Tan, 3"

A black and tan dachshund puppy, sitting with one paw lifted and his head tipped down, giving you the look. Long ears, amber eyes, a high glossy glaze.

This one has sat on a shelf and watched a house go by. Maybe on a windowsill, waiting for someone to come up the walk. Maybe on a nightstand. Maybe on a desk, keeping someone company through the long afternoons.

It doesn't just sit there. It asks, very politely, for a little attention.

Dachshund Puppy Figurine, hand-painted glazed ceramic, made in Japan. Stamped "1276 JAPAN" on the base. 3" tall. Glaze loss on the back and shoulder and small rubs to the front toes, consistent with age.

For the doxie people, and anyone who has ever been looked at like that. #followthefeeling @tallmadge_ave_vintage

Each piece is vintage or antique and has lived a life before finding its way to Tallmadge Ave; natural signs of age, wear, patina, and imperfections are part of its character and are to be expected. All pieces are sold as-is, and any notable condition issues are described in the product listing. That said, if it arrives damaged or isn't as described, we'll refund you in full, including shipping — since each piece is one of a kind, we can't simply send a replacement. Otherwise, returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery. Questions any time at christine@tallmadgeave.com — we're a two-person shop, and we answer.
