Brass Sperm Whale Paperweight, Jeweled Eye, 3.5"

A small brass sperm whale on the desk, holding down the letters that need answering. Square head, a clear jeweled eye, the tail flipped up behind him with the flukes cut in fine lines.

It is heavy for its size, the way solid brass is, and it has the warm, uneven shine of something that has been picked up and put down a thousand times. A small maker's mark is stamped into the belly.

Brass Sperm Whale Paperweight, solid cast brass with a clear jeweled eye. Stamped mark underneath. 2" tall x 3.5" long. Fine surface scratches and darker patina on the underside and in the tail grooves.

For the desk of someone who would rather be on the water. #followthefeeling @tallmadge_ave_vintage

Each piece is vintage or antique and has lived a life before finding its way to Tallmadge Ave; natural signs of age, wear, patina, and imperfections are part of its character and are to be expected. All pieces are sold as-is, and any notable condition issues are described in the product listing. That said, if it arrives damaged or isn't as described, we'll refund you in full, including shipping — since each piece is one of a kind, we can't simply send a replacement.
