Vintage Hand-Painted Game Bird Platter with Scalloped Green Border

A beautiful vintage ceramic platter featuring a charming pastoral scene of game birds gathered among haystacks in a softly painted countryside. The scene is framed by a softly graduated aqua-green ground and a scalloped rim with remnants of gilt decoration.

The combination of faded greens, pale blue sky, warm earth tones, and worn gilded details gives this piece an especially lovely English country / cottage aesthetic. Its generous scale makes it equally suited to serving, displaying, or styling on a dining table, kitchen island, sideboard, or console.
