St. George Crystal Odyssey Covered Jar, Cut Lead Crystal, 7"

The jar with the lid was always the one worth checking. You lifted it slowly, because glass on glass makes a sound that carries to the next room.

This one has kept something good before. Maybe shortbread on a kitchen counter. Maybe peppermints on a sideboard at Christmas, with the level going down faster than anyone admitted. Maybe cotton balls and a bar of the good soap on a dressing table.

It doesn’t just keep things. It makes whatever’s inside look worth waiting for.

Covered Jar, St. George Crystal, Odyssey pattern. Cut lead crystal: deep vertical cuts on the body, a star-cut base, and a scalloped, star-cut lid with a faceted finial. 7" tall with the lid.

For the counter where the cookies have always lived. #followthefeeling @tallmadge_ave_vintage

Each piece is vintage or antique and has lived a life before finding its way to Tallmadge Ave; natural signs of age, wear, patina, and imperfections are part of its character and are to be expected. All pieces are sold as-is, and any notable condition issues are described in the product listing. That said, if it arrives damaged or isn't as described, we'll refund you in full, including shipping — since each piece is one of a kind, we can't simply send a replacement. Otherwise, returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery. Questions any time at christine@tallmadgeave.com — we're a two-person shop, and we answer.
