Seated Terrier Figurine with Blue Collar, Japan, 2.5"

A little white terrier sitting square, with a blue collar, rust-brown ears, a rust-brown tail, and one brown spot on his side. Two dots for eyes with a blush of pink around them, a black nose, and a small round open mouth, like he's about to say something.

Underneath, JAPAN is stamped in red beside the open firing hole.

Seated Terrier Figurine, hand-painted glazed porcelain, made in Japan. Red Japan stamp. White with brown spot, ears and tail; blue collar. 2.5" tall. Light grime in the recesses, small flecks of paint loss at the paws and ear edges, and some rust-colored staining on the unglazed base.

For the terrier people, and small enough for a stocking. #followthefeeling @tallmadge_ave_vintage

Each piece is vintage or antique and has lived a life before finding its way to Tallmadge Ave; natural signs of age, wear, patina, and imperfections are part of its character and are to be expected. All pieces are sold as-is, and any notable condition issues are described in the product listing. That said, if it arrives damaged or isn't as described, we'll refund you in full, including shipping — since each piece is one of a kind, we can't simply send a replacement. Otherwise, returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery. Questions any time at christine@tallmadgeave.com — we're a two-person shop, and we answer.
