ONE OF A KIND
A unique vintage piece. Once it finds a home, this exact object will not be available again.

A liver-and-white setter holds a pheasant mid-retrieve, one wing still catching the light against a dark tree line. Signed P. McCarthy, lower right, the same hand behind our bunny paintings, here turned from the warren to the sporting field. The frame carries a raised lace border and worn gilt corners, set on its own brass easel feet, so it stands on a desk or a mantel without another frame to find. Small enough for a bookshelf. Serious enough for a study wall. The kind of painting a house collects one at a time, not all at once. 11" x 9.5" Oil on Florentine board w/ gilded edge

Each piece is vintage or antique and has lived a life before finding its way to Tallmadge Ave; natural signs of age, wear, patina, and imperfections are part of its character and are to be expected. All pieces are sold as-is, and any notable condition issues are described in the product listing. That said, if it arrives damaged or isn't as described, we'll refund you in full, including shipping — since each piece is one of a kind, we can't simply send a replacement. Otherwise, returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery. Questions any time at christine@tallmadgeave.com — we're a two-person shop, and we answer.

Packed by hand. Every piece is wrapped and boxed by hand, by us, not pulled off a warehouse shelf. Shipping is free. If it arrives damaged, send us a photo within 48 hours and we'll refund you in full. Each piece is one of a kind, so we can't send a replacement, which is exactly why your money back is guaranteed, but please keep in mind that every piece here has lived a life before this one. We sell it as-is, wear included.
