An original 13" x 11" oil by Pat McCarthy: a white rabbit standing tall in a bleu celeste cachepot, painted after old Sèvres porcelain, two bright birds in a gilded cartouche, gold handles, a scalloped foot. Set against a dark ground so the rabbit and the turquoise glaze do all the talking.

Framed in an oval gilt frame with scrolled corners, the gilding softly worn in the right places. Signed P. McCarthy. One of a kind.
