A 7" x 9" original watercolor by Pat McCarthy: a grey rabbit standing tall in a little cachepot dressed in pink bows and rose swags, green handles at the rim. The pattern reads like old Dresden or Sèvres porcelain — ribbons, garlands, a gold foot — and the rabbit sits above it all, ears up, perfectly composed.

Framed in a gold beaded frame with a cream mat. Signed P. McCarthy. One of a kind.

This is the dressiest pot in the set — the ribbon-and-flower kind of china that came out for company. McCarthy gave it a rabbit and let it keep its manners. Small enough to slip into a gallery wall, sweet enough to hold a shelf on its own.
