Vintage Woven Picnic Basket with Hinged Lid & Wooden Handles

A beautifully aged vintage woven picnic basket with a hinged lattice lid, long curved wooden handles, and original metal hardware. The warm honey-brown wicker has wonderful variation in tone and texture, with natural wear that gives the basket its authentic character.

The spacious interior and sturdy construction make it both decorative and practical, perfect for picnics, farmers market trips, blankets, linens, or simply styling on a shelf or in a country kitchen.

We especially love it as a decorative object: the beautiful woven construction and patina make this much more than just a utilitarian basket. Every piece here has lived a life before this one. We sell it as-is, wear included

Each piece is vintage or antique and has lived a life before finding its way to Tallmadge Ave; natural signs of age, wear, patina, and imperfections are part of its character and are to be expected. All pieces are sold as-is, and any notable condition issues are described in the product listing. That said, if it arrives damaged or isn't as described, we'll refund you in full, including shipping — since each piece is one of a kind, we can't simply send a replacement. Otherwise, returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery. Questions any time at christine@tallmadgeave.com — we're a two-person shop, and we answer.
