There's a small ceremony to the table before anyone sits down — the shades pulled halfway against the last of the light, and someone reaching for the candlesticks the way you'd reach for the good napkins. The room isn't finished without them.

These pewter candlesticks could've stood at the head of a hundred dinner tables. Maybe in a dining room that only got real light at five o'clock. Maybe lit for a birthday no one wrote down. Maybe left empty most nights, just holding their spot until it mattered again.

Each piece is vintage or antique and has lived a life before finding its way to Tallmadge Ave; natural signs of age, wear, patina, and imperfections are part of its character and are to be expected. All pieces are sold as-is, and any notable condition issues are described in the product listing. That said, if it arrives damaged or isn't as described, we'll refund you in full, including shipping — since each piece is one of a kind, we can't simply send a replacement.
